2018 Maserati Levante Price

Maserati launched their first crossover ever back in 2016. The car was supposed to hit the market much earlier and under a different name but sadly this didn’t happen. Instead, a couple of years back they revealed the Levante, a four door crossover based on the same architecture as the Ghibli. This means the car is far from perfect but even so, it manages to provide what some of its rivals can’t, a design and a set of interior features that set it apart. Not that long ago the car received a bit more attention with the 2018 Maserati Levante. Sadly this doesn’t really bring anything new to the table but even so, it remains one of the most impressive luxury crossovers out there.

2018 Maserati Levante Review

Most high performance SUVs in this class are well over 5,000 pounds but this isn’t the case with the Levante.

As before, the platform and most of the running gear remained unchanged. However, it looks like Maserati may have worked on the suspension setup in order to make the car a bit less harsh during hard cornering. Toyota RAV4 Spied!!!

This should not only improve the ride of its passengers but it should also make the car a bit more manageable on the road. Another relatively great thing about the car is its weight.

Most high performance SUVs in this class are well over 5,000 pounds but this isn’t the case with the Levante. In fact, thanks to its running gear tweaks, the new model should be one of the best to drive crossovers out there.

The only real drawback we still see with its has to be its braking system. While the Brembo brakes are fine, they aren’t really on par with what some of its rivals have to offer. Levante on Wikipedia….

This is likely because Maserati is still withholding some of their high performance stuff for a future range-topping model.

Release, Price

The base version will hover around $74,000!!

The manufacturer announced the 2019 Maserati Levante not that long ago and it looks like the car is going to go on sale in the upcoming months. Its price is not going to change much over what its competitors cost.

The base version will hover around $74,000 with the range-topping models going for far more than that.

Redesign

The 2018 model doesn’t bring anything new over its predecessor when it comes to the way it looks which is to be expected considering how new the car actually is.

Just like with the other sports crossovers out there, the 2018 Maserati Levante doesn’t really have the look of a regular SUV. Instead, the car looks a lot more like a coupe on stilts which is not exactly a bad thing.

The front end has just the right amount of aggressiveness with the swept-back headlights and the large grille with the vertical slats. The fender vents do complete the look while the car’s rear end, with its arched roof-line, make the Levante seem like a much smaller car than it really is. Buy the new Levante….

Interior

The design here is great as it offers a different look on the whole luxury SUV idea. However, the car is not as good as some people would hope. For starters, the 2018 Maserati Levante has some issues when it comes to the build quality.

These have plagued the car ever since they launched it, so we do hope things will change soon enough. In terms of features, the Levante remains quite similar to most of its direct competitors.

The car features a large wide-screen infotainment system as well as a relatively large driver’s display. We did hope the 2018 model was going to receive something new when it comes to its navigation but this sadly did not happen.
