The front fascia has maintained its elegant proportions. The front bumper is characterized by three air-intake vents. They are absolutely essential for delivering cool air to the massive engine under the hood. Right above it is the iconic Mercedes Benz G 63 grille. With the ever-shining star resplendent in the middle, this grille delivers an aggressive stance and indicates the truck’s presence from afar. It’s headlights have been upgraded to feature LED technology. Hence, they provide extended illumination and urban styling.

Interior design

The cabin on the new 2018 Mercedes-AMG G 63 has been updated tremendously. It contains a collection of new materials. Furthermore, it features new technological facilities as well.

Upon stepping in, you’re greeted by a 3-spoke steering wheel. It provides you with ample control over the SUV’s directional navigation. It also contains sets of tactile buttons on its right and left spokes.

They allow the driver to directly manipulate the car’s systems such as navigation, infotainment and air conditioning. The lower section of this steering wheel has been enhanced with a horizontal shape so as to provide better grip and control. Right behind the steering wheel is an incredible main control center.

It is made up of a pair of 12 inch LCD screens bound together into one sleek panel. It runs from the driver’s section all the way to the middle of the center stack.

The panel presents the car’s odometer, mileage, power reserve meter and transmission data in full, vivid color. It also presents statistics such as the power differential settings, G-sensor and fuel amount. Upon the center part of this panel, you can view the navigation, infotainment and air conditioning settings of the SUV. The new truck features brushed aluminum accents, leather upholstery and 5 seats on 2 rows. In this extended wheelbase version, the rear passengers have some extra legroom.
