2020 Audi Q7 Review, Rumors

Ever since its unveiling in 2002 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Audi Q7 has been one of the flagship crossover SUVs in the automobile market. Ever since then, the SUV has enjoyed a dedicated following of fans and enthusiasts. The new 2020 Audi Q7 emerges from its production location of Bratislava, Slovakia. To ensure clearer visibility for the driver, the SUV has been updated such that its headlights feature LED technology in the Premium trim of the car. Furthermore, its Base model features Xenon headlight technology. For a sportier look, the SUV features some new dual exhaust tips.

Interior updates

Occupant comfort has been boosted in this new SUV. Luxury facilities such as heated front seats, a Bose music system and a 7 inch touchscreen display have been added to the Premium trim of the SUV. For flexible entertainment, it is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay technologies. Moreover, the new 2020 Audi Q7 has now been equipped with a power-foldable, third row in addition to the existing two rows of seats. This makes it a perfect family SUV. In addition to that, safety has been enhanced through a rear view digital camera. Other luxurious touches in the Premium and Premium Plus trims include a panoramic moonroof and keyless ignition system.

New engines

Audi drivers now have extended variety in terms of engine choice. The manufacturer has developed 2 more engines for this model. They include a 3.0 liter TFSI supercharged V6 engine. This one produces 333 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. With this powerplant under the hood, drivers can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds. They can also get this SUV with a 4 liter diesel V8 engine that produces 435 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. These are both coupled with an 8 speed transmission system. 2.10.2018 – Updates


Handsome, large and in-charge are some of the words that can be used to describe the 2020 Audi Q7. The new car features an inviting front fascia which features a trio of large air-intake scoops at the lower part of its nose-section.

Right in the middle is a narrow, horizontal air-intake scoop. It is sandwiched by a pair of hexagonal shaped vents that also direct air into the SUV’s engine bay. Above these features is a large grille. Read about 2020 Lincoln Nautilus….. 

Finished in chrome, it provides an authoritative appearance to the new Q7. The Audi emblem is emblazoned right in the middle of this section. Moreover, a pair of LED headlights sit high atop the front fascia. They are angled and slim in size. This alludes to the futuristic design of the SUV.

The hood is clean with no sculpting or scoops installed. It creates a smooth silhouette that rides over the A-pillar and curves all the way to the rear of this crossover SUV. Its rear section features a spoiler atop its tailgate.

Fitted with an LED brake light, it further accentuates the sporty features of this SUV. Right below the rear pane of glass are the taillights. In a similar fashion, they are also made using LED technology.

The license plate holder is nestled below them and then comes the rear bumper. Angled upwards, it indicates an aggressive stance. Furthermore, the dual tailpipes emerge out of cutouts in the rear bumper. The big SUV runs on 18 inch wheels featuring machine-brushed, stainless steel rims. This is a tasteful feature that completes the elegant exterior of the new Audi Q7.

Interior design

Premium materials arranged in a minimalist way greet you as soon as you enter the new 2020 Audi Q7. The steering wheel is tastefully wrapped in soft, ventilated leather. It has a 3-spoke design and features some control buttons that make it easier for the driver to manipulate the car’s systems.

The gauges are presented on a large, 7 inch rectangular screen situated behind the steering wheel. Through vivid LCD technology, they present pertinent vehicle information such as the speed, mileage and RPM levels.

A large 8.3 inch screen rises out of the center stack in an impressive fashion. This one delivers multimedia, navigation as well as data about the car’s various systems.

A collection of knobs and switches is tastefully arranged on a curving, brushed aluminum foundation in the center stack. They give more control over the car’s interior systems. Chrome and wood veneer punctuate this new Audi’s dashboard. Moreover, it has 3 rows of seats that are all upholstered with soft, Nappa leather.

The 2020 Audi Q7 is powered by a 3.0 liter diesel engine. This powerplant delivers 333 horsepower. Thanks to insulating engine compartment materials, this car runs very quiet.

Drivers can also get the new Audi with with a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine. Both feature an 8-speed automatic transmission system that delivers power to its full time 4 Wheel Drive (4WD) drivetrain setup. Despite the huge dimensions of this SUV, it is surprisingly easy to handle. This is made possible by the adaptive suspension system.

The SUV has an average mileage of 22 mpg (miles per gallon) and can launch from 0 to 60 mph in only 6.4 seconds. It also has a top speed of 152 mph.

Release date, price and availability

This new SUV is bound for release in 2019. Once it hits the showrooms, the 2020 Audi Q7 will cost $56,000. This price will increase upon picking trims such as Audi Plus.

That’s because it comes with extra equipment such as 3-zone computerized air conditioning and 20 inch wide run wheels.
