The 2020 Honda Pilot is a crossover SUV truck that is designed to combine practicality and comfort. The 2020 Honda Pilot has a sporty exterior. In its front fascia, the bumper is split into 3 lateral sections. They act as air-intake vents and add a performance appearance to the vehicle. On both ends of the front bumper are pentagonal vents. They perform engine cooling and also provide enclosures for the car’s fog lights.

Right above the front bumper is the grille. It is made of brushed aluminum and has the Honda logo situated in the middle. This grille extends in an angular way into the vehicle’s headlights. Containing LED technology, they provide ample illumination for the driver.

The car’s hood has a clamshell design. Its fenders are slightly flared and give the SUV an aggressive appearance. Side mirrors are large and the doors are sculpted to enhance aerodynamics. Its roof has raised, linear sections on both sides.

They provide a frame for installing an aftermarket roof rack. In the rear, this new Honda SUV has LED taillights that sit high upon the tailgate. They are slim and fit perfectly with modern trends. Its dual tailpipes are nestled within cutlets in the rear bumper. The car arrives with 18 inch alloy wheels.

Interior design

This car’s interior is designed to enhance comfort. The 2020 Honda Pilot has a 4-spoke steering wheel. Upon its upper spokes are buttons that you can use to manipulate the various systems within the car. Behind the wheel is an LED screen which presents vehicle data such as speed, mileage and transmission status.

At the top of the center stack is an 8-inch screen. It provides extra information such as navigation, infotainment and connectivity in vivid color. Underneath it are rows of buttons that provide deeper control of the various systems within the car. There is also a start-stop button right beside the steering wheel for ignition purposes.

In place of the gear shifter is a row of buttons. The driver can manipulate the car’s transmission by using them. Right next to the transmission buttons is a pair of cup-holders. Quite interestingly, there is an extra entertainment screen which folds down from the middle of the car’s roof. This car can seat 8 people on 3 rows of seats that are upholstered in leather. You can pick from colors such as black, navy, brown, tan and white for the interior.

This new crossover SUV will be available in 5 different trims. The LX trim provides drivers with an integrated remote key fob, cruise control, day and night rear-view assistance and a heated steering wheel. This base trim is available with both All Wheel Drive (AWD) as well as 2-Wheel Drive (2WD) systems. The EX and EX-L trims provide amenities such as brake assistance, ventilated disc brakes, keyless entry, skid plates and child safety locks in the rear. The Touring trim of this crossover SUV provides drivers with a vehicle immobilizer system, electronic traction and stability control as well as 20-inch wheels. The Elite trim is of Premium level and provides luxury amenities such as a panoramic roof, automatic headlights and blind spot warning systems.

The 2020 Honda Pilot has a 3.5 liter V6 engine under the hood. This powerplant produces 285 horsepower (hp) and 265 pound-feet of torque (lb-ft). It is available with 2 different transmission systems. These are the 6-speed and 9-speed automatic transmissions. Drivers keen on fuel economy will have an option to get this crossover SUV with a hybrid engine. The engines provide average mileage of 23 mpg. It can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds and achieve a top speed of 114 mph.
