2020 Kia ProCeed Review

Exterior Redesign

The 2020 Kia ProCeed has an aggressive, sporty front fascia. Its front bumper has a trio of air vents that are laterally divided by diagonal splitters. Not only does this give the car a beautiful appearance, it also diffuses the air flow in a more efficient way into the engine bay.

The extreme left and right scoops contain vertical fog lights. Right above the bumper is a hexagonal radiator grille. Featuring a black honeycomb mesh within, it provides an attractive centerpiece for the car’s nose. The Kia logo is embedded in the hood right above the grille. Furthermore, both are sandwiched between a pair of wrap around, LED headlights. With a daytime illumination feature, they provide visibility assistance to the driver at all times.

Thanks to the hatchback-wagon body style, the new ProCeed has a short, angled hood that leads to a large, wide windshield. This section provides ample visibility and angle of view. Its rear view mirrors are curvaceous and designed to be just as aerodynamic as the rest of the car. In addition to that, its sides are sculpted and an aluminum strip runs along the lower length of the doors.

The roofline slopes gradually towards the rear end and creates a mini spoiler above the rear window. Not only does it add to the sporty style, it also assists with maintaining stability as you drive. The new car has LED taillights situated high upon the tailgate. Located right under the rear window, they sandwich the rear logo and provide ample illumination. The rear bumper features a pair of chrome-tipped cutlets. They house the tailpipes and provide a sporty appearance to the car. Equipped with 18 inch wheels, this family wagon is stylish and sporty in equal proportions.

Interior design

The dramatic style and form that is expressed on the exterior continues throughout the interior as well. The 2020 Kia ProCeed has a 3 spoke steering wheel. On it, you can find tactile buttons upon the upper spokes. They provide the driver with extended, convenient control over the car’s various systems.

Should you desire a sporty feel, you can get a flat-bottomed steering wheel as an option. A pair of analog dials provide the speed, mileage and rev counts as you drive.

Drivers in search of more visual appeal can pick a larger, 8 inch display as an option. A range of knobs and buttons sit underneath the display.

Furthermore, it is sandwiched between some air vents. The gear shifter sits right between the driver and front passenger. It is surrounded by a brushed aluminum panel that indicates the current gear and guides your shifting movement.
