Engine and specs

From reports floating around about the new 2021 Honda CR-V, this SUV will be powered by a combination of a petrol engine and an electric motor. The petrol engine is essentially an i-VTEC 2 liter mill which churns out 173 horsepower. This powerplant is combined with an electric motor. Drivers can choose to drive while running on petrol. They can also choose to drive in pure EV mode.

The engines are mated to a CVT automatic transmission. Furthermore, they can let the SUV pick a driving mode. This new CRV is fitted with a system which is known as the intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (iMMD) technology. It can pick from pure electric, hybrid and petrol power for you. Release Date, Price and Availability

The 2021 Honda CR-V will be launched in late 2020. Its base trim will have a price tag of €38,000. The Elegance Executive AWD trim will have price of €49,500.
