One of the most well known pick up truck models from Toyota is the Tundra. Ever since it was released, the truck has been known for its performance and capability. Western markets have absorbed this model enthusiastically. Thanks to its immense public appeal, improvements upon it have been conceptualized. After implementation, the new features will be released as the 2021 Toyota Tundra. We presume that it will have the following features.

Immediately after its reveal, the 2021 Toyota Tundra got the hearts of pick up enthusiasts around the world racing. The new pick up was fitted with a collection of features and facilities which made it ideal for heavy duty work and off road racing too. Due to public demand, Toyota made a number of updates to make the truck even more awesome. Here they are.

Better in-dash technology

Nowadays, connectivity is all the rage. To keep up with the times, the 2021 Toyota Tundra’s in-dash technology has been updated dramatically. The touch screen panel has been fitted with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay infotainment options. They allow the occupants to synchronize their device playlists with the car’s music system.

The In Car Entertainment (ICE) system is also now fully compatible with Bluetooth. For maximum connectivity, it even has the ability to set up a Wi-Fi connection thanks to new compatibility with an LTE SIM card. Moreover, the traditional Toyota Safety Sense system which was installed in the previous generation of this truck has been tweaked. It now has active and passive features. Examples of these are automatic differential-locking, lane-keeping technology and 360 degree surround camera technology. In this way, the driver and occupants stay protected at all times.

Better chassis and body structure

The new 2021 Toyota Tundra has seen ample action off-road. As such, the engineers have created an entirely new aluminum space-frame chassis and body for this pickup truck. This chassis makes the pickup lighter and easier to handle. — update: 1.29.2019

Its central section is expected to have a lateral vent. This is so as to provide substantial air flow into the engine compartment to cool the powerplant. Sticking with tradition, the new Tundra should have a pair of fog lights situated on both ends of the front bumper.

In a show of off-road dominance, the new truck should have an extended skidplate in its front section. This will help to protect the engine compartment when navigating rough terrain.

A big grille is expected to take center stage on the new pick up truck’s front fascia. Featuring up to 4 rows of chrome-plated bars running across from the left to the right, it will serve as an identifier for the new model and also a substantial air intake vent. To stay in trend with modern pick up truck designs, the new Tundra is expected to have some LED headlights. The incorporation of daytime running is also expected.

We presume that the hood will have a lateral air intake vent to keep the large engine cool. It should also be raised to provide space for the big engine. To keep the truck eye catching, the rear view mirrors will be plated in chrome. It will also have flared fenders and some lateral sideskirts under its doors to keep it trendy.

The new pick up will be available with a double cabin body style. In addition to that, its loading bed is expected to be deeper and firmer so as to provide more luggage space. We hope that LED technology will prevail in the rear lights too. Furthermore, its rear bumper is expected to be situated higher for better ground clearance. Sitting on large 18 inch wheels, the new pick up truck will cut an imposing presence.

Nestled between circular air vents in the center stack, the new truck will have a large 8 inch touch sensitive display. Facilities such as the navigation, infotainment and air conditioning settings will be indicated within this display.

A few rows of buttons are expected to be located below it for more control. Its shifter stick will most probably be located in its traditional spot between the driver and front passenger’s seat. To ensure maximum attractiveness, the unit will have luxury characteristics such as wood veneer and brushed aluminum.

A pair of cupholders will also be situated right next to it. The new Tundra will have leather upholstery in various colors. Examples of these are grey, black, navy, orange, beige and ivory. The truck will also have enough capacity for 5 people on two rows. It will have safety systems such as the Toyota Safety Sense. It will also have lane keeping assist, automatically controlled emergency brakes, a backup camera and blind spot monitoring.

Engine and specs

Power is expected to be one of the main characteristics of the new 2021 Toyota Tundra. It will have a powerful 5.7 liter V8 engine fitted with i-Force technology. To maximize its output, the new engine will also have a new hybrid fuel delivery system. This will make use of both port and direct fuel injection systems. 1. How about leather and luxury trim levels in a body style other than Crewmax? I owned a 2003 and a 2015 Tundra (Limited Crewmax). For my use, the Crewmax has tons of wasted space that I’d rather have in the bed. I was ready to buy a new Tundra until I started researching the current vehicle specs. It turns out that Toyota currently doesn’t even make what I want.
